亚洲与太平洋地区红土镍矿合作组织（中文简称：亚太红土镍矿合作组织）—Asian&nbspPacific;&nbspOrganization; for;&nbspLateritic-Nickel-Ore;（APOL）于2008年7月3日经香港警务处审批完成社团注册。社团注册地域为香港，法定住所地址为：Unit&nbsp2507;,25/F.,&nbspCOSCO;&nbspTower;,&nbspGrand;&nbspMillennium;&nbspPlaza;,&nbspNo.183;&nbspQueen;’s Road;&nbspCentral;, Hong; Kong;。

    亚太地区红土镍矿合作组织是红土镍矿矿山、冶炼及其相关行业的行业性的非营利性社团组织，成员来自亚太地区的中国、菲律宾、印度尼西亚、日本、韩国、新加坡、澳大利亚、香港等，包括矿山主、冶炼企业、检验机构、贸易商、船代货代、海洋运输公司、矿山机械公司等行业骨干企业。

    亚太地区红土镍矿合作组织由各國的礦山主、生產廠家和專業檢驗機構發起，吸收中間經營商參與，共同組建一個國際性的行業組織，目的是通过APOL各方面成员的共同努力和合作，建立一个世界红土镍矿及相关行业公认的公平公正的行业标准，避免因各國不同的檢驗機構的檢測標準和規範不同而出現偏差。这既是APOL成员的共同愿望，也是行业发展的必然需求。

    APOL;的宗旨是：集中所有成员的智慧，贯彻规范行业、减少纠纷、建立互信、合作共赢的理念，建立公正、合理、公平的行业标准，在香港的法律范围内，为行业组织内的各国成员提供无偿的服务。
